Sant Jordi 61

Surprising town house with pure white lines

A real oasis in the centre of the village.  Sant Jordi 61 was a challenge for the company where they managed to maintain the elegance with the classic style of origin of many of its architectural elements. The ground floor has been reconverted into a multifunctional room called Sala61 where the new owners want to hold different types of musical events here links to their website Sala61 In the Sala61 room our guests will live one of the best close-up experiences with this galaxy of culture.

In addition to world class musical events from artists near and far, this lounge is the place to celebrate the incredible culture of this island, showcasing the talented people who make and create right here on our doorstep. The entrance of the home retains its original essence with simple elements and a wide polished stone staircase. The original doors of the house have been maintained and restored.

The first floor was the family home and is currently used as the sleeping area, consisting of 4 bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms and a guest bathroom plus a cinema room. A small redistribution of the spaces was done in a more harmonious way, but we wanted to keep the characteristic elements such as arches and ceilings with mouldings. It was also proposed to use the same style of tiles that were used in the bathrooms, called metro tiles, to cover the new showers. All this together with the type of lighting was intended to preserve the modernist feel of the flat. The first floor was an enormous unfinished attic that we have transformed into the day area and where we find the living room, kitchen and dining room. This floor extends to the exterior with a covered terrace on the main façade where the living room and dining room are located and at the back a new swimming pool with solarium and barbecue area has been built.

The kitchen, open to the living room, inevitably becomes the most powerful room in the house thanks to its spectacular ceiling and the large window with views of the village that dominates the pure and simple lines of the furniture and cladding.  The large terrace with a stone wall and exposed beams has been fitted out as a summer dining room, an authentic comfort and meeting area in which to enjoy the island's unbeatable weather.  The swimming pool, with deep blue tiles, transports you directly to the Mediterranean Sea.
