Pure lines in the Mallorcan landscape
The composition of cubes with pure lines in harmony shapes the facade of this project in the north of Mallorca. The house surprises with the originality of the two superimposed modules of its exterior, though its interior leaves no one indifferent either: the combination of native materials with aluminium joinery and the warmth of the wood creates comfort within.
This project sits on sloping ground, so the entrance is at the upper level. We studied the spaces meticulously to achieve sense and functionality for those who live in it, as well as a natural flow, both inside and out.
The combination of local stone and iroko wood blends with the vegetation of its surroundings, using the island’s traditional materials alongside architecture that keeps pure, minimalist lines. The interiors are spacious and bright thanks to the large windows, which open onto views of the garden and its flush-edge swimming pool.
